Summer Basketball Calendar
Registration Forms:

Here is the information you need to register for Mt. Carmel Summer Camp:
- Go to www.powayadultschool.com and click on “Register” on the left side of the page. Then, read through the paragraph that comes up under “Register Online” and click on Click Here to Register Online for Adult Education, Youth Enrichment Programs, & Summer Coaches' Camps. Then type in the following class numbers under where it says “Class Registration” and click on Search:
- 501113: Mid School Boys Basketball Grades 6-8 (based on the grade your student-athlete is going in to): July 14-18 and July 21-23, 6-8 pm at Mt. Carmel for the cost of $100.00 for a total of 8 nights.
- 501103: MCHS Freshman Boys Basketball 9th Grade: June 16-20, June 23-26 and July 7-10, 7-9 pm at Mt. Carmel for the cost of $140.00 for a total of 13 nights.
- 501093: MCHS JV & Varsity Boys Basketball: June 16-20, June 23-26 and July 7-10, 5-7 pm at Mt. Carmel for the cost of $140.00 for a total of 13 nights.
- 501083: MCHS Open Gym/Training FOR INCOMING FRESHMAN AND CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ATHLETES (Not for grades 6-8): Wednesdays 6-9 pm at Mt. Carmel: July 2, and Wednesdays between August 13- August 27. There is no cost, but registration is still required.
By typing in the class number, you will see the class you are registering for: Click on that class name, and then click on ADD: then follow the instructions to register.
On-line registration is preferred, and you have the option to fax or mail the registration as well. Registration forms are available on our website at www.sundevilbasketball.com, but these forms do not include the information above on dates and times.

PURPOSE
The purpose of Sundevil Competitive Basketball is to provide basketball skill development and competitive game experience for Mt. Carmel High School area youth aspiring to be successful in high school basketball. This organization is separate from Mt. Carmel High School and Poway Unified School District. This organization primarily serves 6th-7th-8th grade student athletes year-round and 9th – 12th grade student athletes when high school basketball is not in session.

SUMMER PLANS:
- Mt. Carmel Basketball Camp:
The Sundevil Competitive Basketball club encourages all club athletes to attend the upcoming Mt. Carmel Basketball Camp. Dates are pending and will be posted as soon as available.
- 9th, JV and Varsity club teams:
9th, JV and Varsity club teams will compete in Team Camps (tournaments) sponsored by local colleges. Dates will be posted as soon as available.
- 6th, 7th, and 8th grade team tryouts:
Tryouts for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams will be held within the first 2 weeks of August. We encourage all interested student-athletes to attend, even if they are unable to compete in our fall program. Dates and locations to be determined.
- Open Gym Times:
We encourage all student-athletes to take advantage of the open gym times available in our community. Here is a current listing as of May 10, 2008
